On April 2nd, 2022, a public symposium, pop-up photo exhibit, and recital will be held in the Kislak Center that will foster interdisciplinary conversations between scholars, filmmakers, creative writers, and musicians while also addressing misconceptions of Chinese artistic practice.

New classes starting on April 17th, 2022
By popular demand, the online class show "Bukaopu Music History" returns for it's 8th edition, starting this spring!
Designed for kids ages 5 to 105, this comprehensive music appreciation course is taught bilingually in English and Mandarin by its creators Kemin and Rosy Zhang on ZOOM.
This is a unique immersive music "glamping" experience brought to you by Bukaopu and hosted by Shamrock Ranch.
This summer, we welcome you to the 17000 acres of nature preservation land known as Shamrock Ranch, situated 3 hours drive north of San Francisco, to enjoy a week of music making and self-discovery!

The Li Delun Music Foundation was established in 2002 in Toronto as a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of cultural exchange between the east and the west through musical events.
The notable Chinese musician and conductor, Li Delun, graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory where he studied the cello with I. Shevtzov and R. Duckson as well as music theory with W. Frankel. Delun devoted his life to the promotion of classical music in China.
